Brussel sprout perfection
Ok dudes,
I didn’t have brussel sprouts until 2007 and yet somehow the stereotype that they were a totally gross vegetable had permeated my psyche. This must have come from the TV as my mom had never made them and I had never tried them. That being said, I am of the mind set that one should try anything once, excluding things that are clearly super addictive and extremely bad for ones health. Anyway, once upon a serendipitous evening I randomly came upon a dinner party of persons whom I didn’t really know. They treated me to good wine and cheffed up food like Shaolin masters kick ass. It was an incredible spread, of which one of the tasty items was brussel sprouts. At the time I really didn’t even know what the interesting round super sized green booger was.
“Would you like some brussel sprouts?”
I said, “sure,” thinking to myself, “brussel sprouts! these are brussel sprouts! uh bleck. Ok, here we go.”
